Jackson Galaxy of "My Cat From Hell," Talks About His New Book and the Cat Who Saved His Life (VIDEO)

During a broken time in his life, Jackson Galaxy, a cat behaviorist and star of the hit show, My Cat from Hell, met Benny, a rescue cat with a broken pelvis. Galaxy credits Benny with saving his life and said that "I wouldn't be here, on this planet at this point, without him."

In his new memoir, Cat Daddy: What the World's Most Incorrigible Cat Taught Me about Life, Love and Coming Clean, Galaxy writes about his 13 year relationship with Benny and how they healed each other.

The book gives tips on how to work with issues with your own cat. And "what cats need most from us humans in order to live happier, healthier lives."

The cat behaviorist got his start in Colorado at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley where he worked with cats to get them more adoptable. Jackson lives in Los Angeles where he has a private consulting practice, working one-on-one with cats in their homes, utilizing his unique “Cat Mojo” approach to cat care.

Galaxy said the 3rd season of My Cat from Hell will premiere June 30 on Animal Planet.
