Jade is a miracle kitty. The 5-month-old black kitten survived being thrown from a car on busy Route 7 in Tyson's Corner, Virginia. She was rescued by two sisters who saw her in the middle of the road. The kitten has a broken pelvic bone and may need surgery.
The sisters who rescued her started a Help Save Jade page on Facebook to raise funds and to find her a surgeon. This Monday, Jade has an x-ray appointment to learn more about the current position of the broken pelvic bone. Depending on the results, the surgery might be put off until she is a little older.
Thanks to Jade's Facebook followers, her rescuers may also have found a vet willing to do the procedure.
If you would like to make a donation, you can go to Jade's Chip-in page. As of this posting $800 has been raised from compassionate people who were all touched by the spunky little kitten.
Watch these videos of Jade. She'll steal your heart.
Sleepy Jade...
Purrs to Jade and her rescuers who saved her life.
He is possibly the most adorable candidate running for office you'll ever meet. You just want to cuddle with him. His name is Bublik. He is a 3-month-old kitten who recently declared he wants to enter the dog-eat-dog world of Russian politics. The competitive kitty is ready to start kissing babies and shaking hands.
As reported by The Moscow Times, Bublik's press secretary, Ivan Kolotovkin, said that the cat's slogan is "For a Fun Future!"

Bublik was encouraged to throw his hat into the ring, by the candidacy of Hank the cat. Hank is a former street cat running for Senate in Virginia. You can read more about Hank, in "Vote for Hank the Cat for Senate!"
"If Hank the cat takes the U.S. Senate seat, cats between different countries could collaborate in productive ways," Kolotovkin said.
Willie the kitten is a lucky lil' fellow. He was stuck in a storm drain in Savannah, Georgia when 3 women heard his cries for help. As reported by WSAV, the women called Animal Control but they were told it would be some time before the rescuers would arrive.
The women tried to rescue the kitten themselves but the storm drain was too heavy to lift. Then all of a sudden a man pulled up in his car. He volunteered his assistance. Willie's saviour pulled up the storm drain and jumped in and pulled him out.
Linda Elliott, one of the office workers, asked his name. He said he was "Willie." So Linda named the kitten after him. And now Willie the kitten is living with her.
You've see the adorable video of the Mama cat hugging her kitten. But how about this video of Faline the fawn and Boots the kitten showing their love for each other? It's the aww moment of the day.
